Ingredients

  • Sliced baguette crostini, or crackers, for serving
  • Apple slices for serving
  • Grapes for serving
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for garnish
  • 1 8-ounce round brie cheese, chilled*
  • Honey for drizzling
  • Chopped toasted pecans for sprinkling
  • Flaky sea salt optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Place the chilled brie cheese on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, keeping a close eye until the center becomes soft and gooey.
  • Once done, gently remove the brie from the oven and carefully transfer it to a serving platter. Be cautious, as the cheese will be delicate and may lose its shape if handled roughly.
  • Generously drizzle the warm brie with honey, ensuring it coats the surface. Scatter chopped toasted pecans over the top, and if desired, add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for a touch of crunch and flavor depth.
  • Finish the presentation by garnishing with sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme. Serve immediately alongside slices of baguette, crostini, apple slices, and grapes for an elegant and delicious appetizer.

Notes

Ensure the brie is chilled straight from the refrigerator before placing it in the oven. Starting with brie at room temperature may cause it to over-melt during baking.
