Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 scoop chocolate ice cream
  • 1 scoop strawberry ice cream
  • 1 banana peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or warm hot fudge
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce or diced fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple sauce or chopped fresh pineapple
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • 3 maraschino cherries
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped peanuts or preferred nuts

Instructions

  • Begin by peeling the banana and slicing it lengthwise into two even halves. Arrange the slices along the sides of a long, narrow serving dish, creating a cradle for the ice cream scoops.
  • Nestle the scoops of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream in a neat row between the banana halves, allowing each flavor to shine in its own section.
  • Generously drizzle the pineapple sauce—or spoon over the fresh diced pineapple—on top of the vanilla ice cream. Over the chocolate scoop, pour the chocolate syrup or hot fudge for a rich, decadent layer. Finish by spooning the strawberry sauce or chopped fresh strawberries over the strawberry ice cream.
  • Crown each scoop with a swirl of whipped cream and place a maraschino cherry on top of each dollop. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the entire dish for a final touch of crunch and flavor. Serve immediately for the perfect classic dessert experience.
